Week 12
Division C
Twelve Weeks already, time flies. The support and enthusiasm is much appreciated. Please understand out there, that we work many hard hours during the week, sometimes sick, many times tired, but we always come to play Sunday football with a smile on our face. This is what we love.
Unforgettable day for us all. Asleep at the wheel, The Ringleaders caught FC Select off guard. It was 2-0 at half time.
Our opponents didn’t stay quiet for too long. In a much pressured attack style, the game quickly turned into 3-2 in FC Select’s effort.
RFC kept cool and focused, bringing it back to the basics. Marking, pressuring, intercepting, passing, and shooting…
In an epic outcome, the match finished at 4-4.
Division B
Another 6pm match, another week gone by. Hearing the final whistle is always a bummer. Work tomorrow morning is rough. It’s o.k… pretend to listen, pretend to pretend… you’re thinking about last night’s match aren’t you? We could of won, we should of won…
RFC 2 made one early mistake that cost them a goal. Unmarked man forgotten in a scramble.
Time to pick up the pace. In the 2nf half, Bobby threw an exceptional long throw in right onto Jonas’s unmarked head… and into the net.
The match ended 1-1. Please note that Rod was remarkable, as he saved many shots in a 15 minute thunderous attack by FC Brossard. Lucky? Maybe… not realy!!!

It’s a homage to Otl Aicher’s work for the 1972 Olympics in Munich. He was one of the leading German Graphic designers of that period, and received a lot of acclaim for the set of pictograms (and posters) he create for the Olympics.

The games that year were also overshadowed by the killing of 11 Israeli athletes, represented here by the coloured pentagrams and hexagons.
The date of our matches for that week (7-2) were the inspiration for the theme.
